Queensland Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning | LG Leaders
Filming is complete! However, there is still more to do. Post–production and eLearning development awaits.
In 2023, VMP eLearning strengthened the long-standing working relationship we have with the Queensland Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning, whom we have been frequent partners off since 2019. Our collaborative goal is to enhance the Local Council online training offered to both aspiring and recently elected councillors.
Prime Effect | Be Buoyant
Everyone wants to come home safe and sound. Educating peoples about the potential psychological hazards in the workplace is a step in the right direction for the future of WH&S.
VMP eLearning was approached by Prime Effect with the opportunity to assist in developing engaging eLearning modules that directly coincide with the new WH&S legislation surrounding psychological hazards in the workplace. We pride ourselves on creating bespoke programs that incorporate multiple forms of learning. Within this project, we included elements of gamification, a custom designed user interface, informative presenter videos and helpful voice overs to assist visual, auditory, reading and writing, and kinesthetic learners in comprehending the teachings required of them.
Box Hill Institute | eLearning Project
VMP had the pleasure of helping those that provide vocational and higher educate our current and future generations.
VMP eLearning has a long history in developing animation content for clients such as Queensland SES, Queensland Fire and Rescue and the Queensland Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning. When we were approached by the Box Hill Institute to assist in developing an interactive and visual approach for an educational course. The project resulted in the production of sixty minutes worth of animation, videos ran for roughly 2 – 6 minutes, which were spread across several units of competency.
VMP eLearning New Team Members | 2023
Let’s meet our two new additions to the VMP and VMP eLearning Team.
In early October, Wayne Bell joined the VMP team as our Client Relations Manager. Wayne has worked within the eLearning space for many years. His expertise in Client Relations and eLearning is complimented by his history working in communications and content creation, which makes Wayne a master of all trades related to VMP. Give Wayne a call on 0422 517 004 for a chat.
In July, Jake Horsfall began as our new Production Assistant. After completing his time studying at Griffith University, Jake spent time specialising as both a Production Administrator Assistant and a Set Production Assistant. He brings enthusiasm and knowledge to a role that requires him to work closely with all team members across development, production, and post-production. He enjoys collaborating with our talented team of professionals in office, as much he enjoys being out on a video set.
Australian Army and the Land Warfare Centre | Learn X Awards
Time to celebrate! We are over the moon about the recent awards we have received.
Over several years, VMP eLearning has developed a strong working partnership with the Australian Defence Force (ADF), in particular the Land Warfare Centre (LWC). Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting some of the officers of the ADF to celebrate our joint success of receiving a Learn X Award for Best eLearning Design for our Combined Arms Breach project. The ADF officers in attendance were LTCOL Say, LTCOL Gee, MAJ Rowe and CAPT Wegner who were greeted by our production team and later given the present with the Learn X award.
