Welcome to the first ever VMP eLearning Brisbane Newsletter! 2019 has kept us busy, from eLearning videos to Training Needs Analysis reports, and we’re thrilled to share what we’ve been up to!
Mater Education // eLearning Demonstration Videos
VMP eLearning have been working on creating an eLearning course on baby first aid for Mater Education. The course is designed to teach new parents about applying first aid practices to their child. It also creates an accessible option for families in rural areas who can’t attend an instructor-led training session. VMP eLearning have collaborated with Mater Education & Mater Mother’s to see this amazing project come to life. The training videos for the course were shot at both the Mater Hospital and onsite in the VMP studio. The life-saving course will be made available for purchase towards the end of 2019. We hope it will be a great tool for young Australian families.
Department of Local Government, Racing & Multicultural Affairs // eLearning Course // Training Needs Analysis
VMP eLearning were pleased to win the Department of Local Government, Racing, and Multicultural Affairs Tender for an Online Training Course, to assist with their agenda reform in the Local Government sector. The ‘So You Want To Be A Councillor’ training is mandatory for anyone aspiring to be a candidate in local government elections. VMP eLearning have been working with DLGRMA to deliver the completed course for early 2020. Additionally, we have also been working with them to provide a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) Report for the course. We’ve really enjoyed working once again with DLGRMA to create eLearning content for them.
Civil Aviation Safety Authority // eLearning Videos
VMP eLearning have been working with CASA from the beginning of 2019 to create content for use in their ‘Flight Examiner Professional Development’ Course. The team got to shoot both in the VMP studio and on location at Coollangatta Airport – including in an airborne plane! We also provided CASA with a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) Report to help the structure and presentation of the course. It’s been a fantastic experience to work with a federal institution like CASA and we look forward to working with them again in the future!
Queensland Fire & Emergency Services // eLearning Videos
We’re always happy to welcome back the Queensland Fire & Emergency Services (QFES)! VMP eLearning and QFES worked together to create a series of presentation-style videos to introduce and conclude the modules in their new eLearning course. Several QFES officers came into the VMP studio in July to present the information and they did a fantastic job! The videos are expected to join the course at the end of winter this year.
